New episode of Sustainable Energy delves into MIT’s global energy innovation.

A recent episode of CNBC’s Sustainable Energy focused on research efforts by the Tata Center and MIT Energy Initiative to change the world’s energy systems and expand energy access in the developing world.

In the segment, Tata Fellow Natasha Wright discussed the importance of using interdisciplinary collaboration to move technologies from the lab to the real world. MIT Director of Digital Learning Sanjay Sarma, who is part of the Tata Center’s advisory board, talked about the power of online learning platforms such as edX and MIT OpenCourseWare.

Also featured are MITEI education director Antje Danielson and graduate students working with Professor Vladimir Bulovic on advanced solar cells, among others.
