Elise is a PhD student in Urban Studies and Planning working on environmental policy and decision making. Her research focuses on institutional decision-making and resource management, with an emphasis on distributed energy and water infrastructure. Prior to MIT, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in architecture and environmental studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Elise also worked as a research assistant for the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy and on policy for green infrastructure and stormwater management at PennDesign’s Green Cities Lab.
