Paige Midstokke / Civil & Environmental Engineering;Technology & Policy Program

Paige is pursuing a dual Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Technology and Policy Program, studying mechanisms for predicting and managing drought in the US and India. She is a Tata Fellow working with Professor James Wescoat on developing an analytics tool for preparing for drought and building institutional planning for drinking water in rural Maharashtra, India. As an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, Paige studied water access to refugees in Western Thailand with emphasis on the economics of refugee camps. For two years following undergrad, Paige worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as Consultant managing Department of Veterans Affairs enterprise Data Quality Program as well as CDC’s office of Global Health epidemic preparedness. As a native Californian, she is particularly interested water management and conservation, surfing, and warm weather.
