Mrinal Mohit / Media Lab

Mrinal is a graduate student and research assistant at the MIT Media Lab with the Camera Culture group, working with Prof. Ramesh Raskar. He is passionate about redefining the limits of automated machines, systems, and algorithms, especially in perception, interaction, and health. At MIT, he develops imaging solutions for predictive health screening and deep learning methods for detecting cancer from tissue imagery.

As an undergraduate (’15) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, he studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, delving into robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. In his spare time, he can be found flying drones, shooting pictures, or traveling.
