Organic waste is an under-utilized resource. This project seeks to convert organic waste from land fills and agriculture into high value products using modern chemical and biological engineering techniques. To that end, we have developed a novel technology that uses anaerobic digestion of food waste to produce valuable chemicals and fuels at community and industrial scales. Pilot testing is underway at MIT and in India.
