REDx: Rethinking Engineering Design Execution (Video)

Tata Center researchers in the MIT Media Lab showcase their co-development model for global health technology innovation.

At MIT, we’re passionate about bringing emerging health technology into the real world. An essential requirement for such deployment is a strong innovation community, in which people with the right ideas, or skills, or resources are brought together. REDx is deigned to bring together engineers, scientists, doctors and entrepreneurs to build health tech devices with impact.

REDx is a platform that kick-starts year-round collaborations between innovators in India and projects at MIT. Innovators that join the REDx camp are recruited to continue work on projects at MIT and India through formal internships ad informal gatherings at innovation centers and maker spaces throughout the year in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and elsewhere.
